Taxi passengers must travel in the back seats. Only when back seats are full can passengers travel in the row of the driver.

Throughout Europe the general number for all amergencies is 112. In Spain the operators speak English, French, German and Italian, in addition to Spanish and will liaise with the emergency services when the caller does not speak Spanish. No area code is needed and the number can be called from any phone, including mobiles without a Spanish SIM card or any credit.

Health Clinics.

The state run facility is called the 'Ambulatorio' and located on Avenida Juan Carlos I in Estepona. They have a 24hr emergency wing as well as the daytime medical appointment facilities. The state hospital for Estepona is Hospital Costa del Sol in Marbella.

ESTEPONA PHARMACIES.

The Estepona area pharmacies pledge to provide services at a time that's convenient for you.

Opening hours: from 9.00am tol 2.00pm and from 4.30pm to 8.30pm on weekdays. From 10.00am to 2.00pm on Saturday. Some pharmacies are open from 9.00am to 10:00pm every day. Arena Beach pharmacy is open from 9.00am to 9.00pm from Monday to Saturday.

Outside normal surgery hours you can still go to an out-of-hours service in Estepona. The out-of-hours period is from 20.30pm to 9.30am on weekdays and all day at weekends and on bank holidays. San Pedro International pharmacy is open 24 hours everyday.
